Spent a delightful Christmas in a converted chapel in a small village surrounded by stunning countryside and within walking distance to cozy country pubs. Loved the spacious accommodation, which was split into two floors, giving me and my family plenty of privacy. The hosts were friendly and made a smashing breakfast that included vegetarian options. Parking on the tarmac was a bit tight, but still manageable.
Chapel is not super touristy, but there are enough restaurants and pubs to keep you entertained for a week or so. There seemed to be some renovation work going on in the outside garden, which may have been a bit noisy at times.

Chapel Cottage is a charming accommodation in a quiet village, surrounded by picturesque scenery and a short walk from country pubs. The self-contained cottage offers a comfortable bedroom upstairs and a cozy sofa/TV dining area downstairs. It provides privacy while still being connected to the main house. The hosts are friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome and providing local information. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast, and vegetarians are catered for. The off-road parking on a tarmac'd area in the front garden may require some maneuvering, but it's worth it for the convenience.
The surrounding area is not touristy and may lack a variety of amenities.

The weekend party was very pleasant and cozy, with nice accommodations. We appreciated the quiet location and the well-maintained building, which was in a beautiful area close to some lovely country pubs. The breakfast was good and it was convenient having free parking available on-site.
It was freezing cold in our room when we arrived and we had to wait for it to warm up. Plus, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were not comfortable either.
